Act your age ?

As a operator, Me and my co-workers get too see a lot of good & bad in people. The good is when a elderly or wheelchair passenger board and who's ever sitting in the DISABLE area move without being ask to. Then you have people who want to know WHY they have to move ? . 9 out 10 times they'll move when you say "BECAUSE", But every now and then you'll get that one A## HOLE that starts talking about" I'M GROWN I AIN'T GOT TO MOVE ", First you've got too "GROW UP TO BE GROWN", Second you better pray that you never become "DISABLE" and need to sit in the" DISABLE" area , Third trying to impress your "GIRLFRIEND-SISTER", you only made yourself look like a fool ,You "UNEDUCATED INBREEDED" blame everybody but yourself Fare evading stank breath sorry excuse for a man . "AIN'T YOU GOT NO LIFE" . The moral to this story is "I DON'T FORGET A FACE" or in your case "YOUR STANK BREATH"

If You Don't Like It !

First and foremost the RAMPS are for Wheelchairs & Disable passengers, Anyone after that can sit or stand anywhere they choose. So remember the next time you bring your lazy worthless A** across the" SENIOR & DISABLE RAMP ", The area in front of the Train & Buses are reserved for" WHEELCHAIRS & DISABLE" passengers. NOT 20 something yr old PUNKS carrying a "STROLLER" and trying too hold your pants at the same time. This is a FEDERAL LAW, Not my law or Regional Transit law. So my advice to you is "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT USE THE STAIRS ". Just a Thought !!

This isn't the Watt-I/80 Train ?

Hmmm! how do I explain this. On each Train or Bus there is this thing called a Headsign, it's the big thing in front & on the side of All public transportation vehicles. A good example is if the headsigns say" SUNRISE" that means it's going to" SUNRISE" not FOLSOM not MEADOWVIEW not WATT/I-80 , But to "SUNRISE". The second clue should be the announcements the freaking Trains & Buses make . "SUNRISE BOUND TRAIN" same for "MEADOWVIEW BOUND TRAINS"or in your case"WATT-I/80 BOUND TRAIN" so before you ride it all the way to SUNRISE then blame me for not telling you,"YOU NOT ME" were on the wrong train I would ! (A) Get a Education (B) Clean the wax out of your EARS. (C) Stop blaming others for your Shortcomings or Laziness for picking up a ($1.00) Bus Book and attempting to really learn where the Trains & Buses Go , JUST A THOUGHT !!

Why is the train late ?

The train is late because (1) At each light rail station we're suppose to load & unload passengers including Drunks in wheelchairs, People that can't remember why they're sitting on the Disable ramp, And just plain lazy A** people that don't want to walk up the stairs: And believe me the worst are the one's that between the (1st & 15th) of every month they feel that since they have a little SSI, WELFARE or G.A. check ,They have more of a right to sit in the SENIOR & DISABLE area. Now since I've been doing this job for more than (5)yrs, I basically get to see the same cast of characters , Day to Day- Month to Month- Year to Year, And for you that ride the Buses & Trains on a regular basis you know what I'm referring too. Add this and the fact people don't understand" PEOPLE WAIT FOR TRAINS-TRAINS DON'T WAIT FOR PEOPLE ",Then a (10-15) sec. station stop turns into up to a (1) min. stop. Now multiply that by (23) stations, Guess what! I,m Late !!!. (2) Some of these trains are (18-20) yrs. old. They have been running (20) hrs a day (365) days a yr for that long. THEY'RE going to BREAK DOWN! So the next time your train or bus don't show up , Don't Cuss out the operator , Because we don't want to HEAR what we already know !!!!! That We're Late

I Make more than you !

Hello Sacramento, Thought I would put my two cents in about being a operator for R.T . Listening too a lot of people complaining about the service and operators, I encourage you to do this job 8-10 hrs a day, Dealing with Drunks-Mentally ill, and Low Lifes that think the Trains & Buses are their personal limo service. And people that think because they work for a certain State Agency (pick one) ,Paying ($2.00-$5.00) or ($20.00 per mo.) if you work for a State Agency (pick one) that you make more than this operator! , Unless you're upper management, "THINK AGAIN". And for the service. Me and my fellow operators try everyday to keep are Buses & Trains on time so remember the next time your holding the door at 9&k st for Susie or Pookie because they're a block away that's why you missed your bus at Arden-Del Paso or Watt/I-80 . On a personal note I think 98% of riders are hard working people that just want to get from point A to point B, It's the 2% that screw it up.
